A new post... more than a year later.

Hello blog!

Much has happened since my last post in December of 2008. A whole darned lot. Most changes were pretty normal, just things to do with the daily grind, while others were quite drastic, albeit life-changing.

For one, I'm no longer the lonely Joe whom people often thought would eventually be of the cloth (and some, i believe, still do). I'm proud to say that after 25 years of being single, I have found my piece of the "love pie". Life with this wonderful woman is like a chocolate-covered espresso bean; rich, enticing, a tad bittersweet and always a pick-me-up.

Another drastic change brings me back to the academe - taking another BA in Multimedia Studies. It's been an interesting experience so far, as this one doesn't quite compare to my previous years of study, but just as refreshing, nevertheless.

The last twelve months have been, so far, one of the best and definitely ranks right up there with graduation and acing my first exam. They were happy months, full of inside jokes, quotes and other nice things, to say the least. My life right now, I think is best described by author and speaker, Allan Watts: "We were given the idea that life was like a journey, that it had a definite end - success, heaven and whatever it is. But we missed the point the whole time along, it's a musical thing. And we were supposed to sing and dance while the music was being played."

I am grateful that He has richly blessed me, and I pray that my life-music goes on to become a masterpiece and before it eventually reaches that ultimate climactic end.

to you, know that five years is short for a lifetime. I look forward to making our music together. :)
