stars keep falling;
do they land?
or do they just keep on falling
until the earth
magically rises up
to meet her?

feelings keep rising;
do they stop?
or do they just keep rising,
like the constant swell of waves
reaching high,
trying to go far enough
to reach shore?

if my star does fall,
and her feelings do rise,
will i be able to see it through?
will i be able to meet you? catch you?
